Tres fotos distintas, tres lugares distintos, tres momentos distintos... Siempre la misma cancion!
La de arriba es en Tsimane Lodge, Bolivia. Tremenda foto de Val Atkinson que me conto que guarda un album de fotos de habitaciones de guias de todo el mundo.
La del medio es en Bella Vista Lodge, Rio Gallegos. Fue durante el asado nocturno que compartimos con Katherine Morroun y su equipo de filmacion, cuando estuvieron filmando "Fly Rod Tango" y "Big Wind, Big River, Big Fish".
La de abajo es en el Joe´s Bar de Craig,Montana. Con el viejo Joe tomandose una cerveza y escuchando un poco de musica foranea.

Three different pictures, three different places, three different moments... Always the same song!
The upper one is in Tsimane Lodge, Bolivia. Awesome picture from Val Atkinson that told me that he keeps an album with pictures of guide´s rooms from all over the world.
The middle one is in Bella Vista Lodge, Rio Gallegos.  It was during the night barbacue that we share with Katherine Marroun and her fil crew when they were filming "Fly Rod Tango" and "Big Wind, Big River, Big Fish".
The bottom one is in Joe´s Bar in Craig, Montana. With the Old Joe having a beer and listening to some foreign music.

Irigoyen Lodge

Esta foto no dice mucho, pero tiene una gran historia. Yo llegue a TDF y me dijeron: hoy a la noche vamos a las cabañas. Estamos contruyendonos el "rancho", asique si no te molesta nos podes dar una mano.
Llegue de noche, ya sin luz. Al otro dia, me levante y antes de ver el rio, me dicen: "ahi va nuestro rancho!".... Eran 6 estacas enterradas y unidas por un hilo....
Fueron 3 meses durmiendo en carpa, y nunca logre ver el rancho terminado!
This picture does not say much, but has a huge story. I arrived to TDF and I was told: tonight we go to the lodge. We are building our cabin, so If you don´t mind you can elp us.
We arrived late that night, in the darkness. The next day I woke up and before seeing the river, they told me: there is our new cabin!"... Just 6 sticks with a rope..
There were 3 months sleeping on a tent and I never saw the cabin finished!

Irigoyen Lodge 98/99 y 99/00

Estas 2 fotos fueron sorpresa: tenia que ir a hacer scouting en los pools de "abajo" en Kautapen. Me fui temprano solo, ya que nadie queria ir a pescar por el frio, asique me clave en la boca del Menendez. Al 3º tiro clave este muy buen macho, y cuando lo estaba por devolver escucho un bocinazo.... Un compañero me habia estado mirando todo el tiempo y me saco estas fotos.
This 2 pictures were surprise: I had to do a scouting in the lower pools of Kautapen. I went out early and alone, because nobody wanted to join me because it was too cold, so I started staright away on the Menendez Boca. Third cast and I hooked this great cockfish, and when I was releasing him, I heard a horn... Another guide had been watching me the whole time and took this pictures.

Una gran trucha arco iris pescada en el Rio Missouri, en Craig, Montana (USA). Hay 5000 truchas por milla de rio, todas siempre activas y dispuestas a tomar imitaciones. Esta salia del tamaño normal.
Great rainbow trout caught on the Missouri River, in Craig, Montana (USA). There are 5.000 trout per river mile, always active and ready to take our patterns. Thisone was bigger than the average.

Agrego estas 3 fotos que nada tienen que ver con la pesca pero es otra de las cosas que me gusta hacer: ASADO AL ASADOR!
En la primera foto estoy haciendo un cordero en Bella Vista, temporada 2002/03. Lo hice durante todos los jueves de la temporada.
La segunda foto es en Montana. Alla consegui quien fabricara el asador y hasta me regalo un chivo! lo que se ve al lado del chivo es una serpiente de cascabel que la quisieron asar de la misma manera.
La ultima foto es en Noruega. Ahi tambien consegui quien haga el asador, pero al principio me costo conseguir cordero. Cuando lo probaron me pidieron que lo haga mas seguido!
I add this 3 pictures that have nothing to do with fishing but it is another thing that I love to do: ASADO AL ASADOR!
In the first one, I am roasting a lamb in Bella Vista, season 2002/03. I did that every thursday during that whole season.
The second one is in Montana. I found someone to build the Asador and he even gave me a goat! What is next to the goat is a rattle snake that they want to roast in the same way.
Last picture is in Norway. There I also found someone to build the Asador, but at the beggining was not easy to get a lamb. When they tasted it, they wanted more often!
